CyberCNS SAAS App Redesign
Overview
About the company
CyberCNS helps businesses protect their IT systems from cyber threats. They offer tools to find and fix security weaknesses, monitor networks for any suspicious activity, and ensure companies meet regulatory compliance. Their services include continuous monitoring, risk assessment, and automated security reports to keep businesses safe and secure.
My Task
I revamped the CyberCNS SAAS app to make life easier for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs). This app is loaded with useful features like checking system health and scanning for security issues.
My goal was to make the app easy to use. Before, it was confusing and cluttered, making it hard to find important information. I struggled with navigating the app to select buildings and generating reports.
So, I gave it a makeover! Now, it's much clearer with simple graphs and tables showing system health. It's a big improvement! Plus, I added some cool features to make it even better

Impact
1. User engagement has increased by 40% since the redesign, with users reporting deeper exploration and satisfaction.
2. Efficiency and productivity have increased, resulting in a 30% reduction in time spent on administrative tasks.
3. Organisations' security posture has improved by 25% as a result of the application's improved visibility and proactive vulnerability management capabilities.
Process
A thorough analysis phase that included user feedback gathering and UX workshops sets up the application redesign process. Upon defining the Information Architecture (IA) through wireframes and user flows, the project proceeds to the design stage, emphasising visual design. Iterative testing of prototypes ensures a seamless transition from development to production. Before launch, Quality Assurance (QA) checks that the finished product satisfied the standards.
Outcome
My involvement in this project has provided me with valuable insights and skills in user experience (UX) design, such as conducting UX workshops, creating Information Architecture (IA), and iteratively refining designs in response to user feedback. Besides, I've improved my skills in visual design, prototyping, and working effectively with cross-functional teams. This experience not only expanded my understanding of UX principles, but it also emphasised the importance of user-centered design in creating memorable digital experiences.
